1. Borrow

Search for dissection alternatives that fit your needs and add them to the cart! If you have any questions, give us a call at 1-800-729-2287.

When you check out, you will be asked to sign a financial agreement and confirm your identity. That way, If loaned items are unreturned or damaged, you will be invoiced for the full replacement value or cost of repairing the item(s).

After placing your order, keep an eye on your inbox! You will receive an email from our loan administrator to establish a loan period. Your loan cannot be fulfilled without confirming the dates, so it is important to provide correct contact information when creating your account.

Remember, you are agreeing to these terms when borrowing.
Please note:

  • You must be 18 or older or have a parent/guardian’s permission to borrow.
  • We only loan products from The Science Bank to those who reside in the United States.
  • Alternatives are loaned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

2. Learn

Your order will be delivered to the address you provided us (No P.O. boxes please!). You’ll receive tracking information so you can keep an eye on your order as well.

If anything is damaged upon delivery or during use, please inform our loan administrator immediately; pictures are helpful.

You typically have 2-3 weeks with the products unless otherwise specified. This is a great opportunity for teachers to try alternatives to dissection without financial risk, or for students and parents of students who wish to opt out of dissection!

While using our products, please be sure to follow sanitization guidelines provided by the CDC to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases: wipe down products with EPA approved anti-bacterial products between use, and especially before returning the products to us. If you are using a Critical Care Jerry, Critical Care Fluffy, CPR Jr., or other high-value Rescue Critters manikin, be sure to check your product packaging for special instructions on cleaning and care.

Need more time with borrowed items or suspect your loan will be returned late? Contact the loan administrator immediately to arrange a new return date.

3. Return

Before returning our products, please ensure you have sanitized the items to the best of your ability to help curb the spread of germs. If you are using a Critical Care Jerry, Critical Care Fluffy, CPR Jr., or other high-value Rescue Critters manikin, be sure to check your product packaging for special instructions on cleaning and care.

Please be aware that, while our services and loan delivery are free, borrowers are responsible for the arrangement and cost of returning your loan.

You may ship your items to us through whichever carrier you prefer, but please provide the loan administrator with tracking information. We suggest you insure your package for the replacement value of your loan, as you are financially responsible for the items until they are delivered to us.
